Sabriye Tekbilek is an internationally recognized dancer and teacher.  With over 10 years of experience working in the Middle East and her unique pedagogical background she has a wealth of information about dancing to live music.  
Durring this course Sabriye will share information through both theory and physical exercises begin to prepare you for dancing with live instrumentation.  
The course will touch upon music theory and history, introduce sub-genres within Belly Dance music as well as how to choose a set and create dynamics in a show. 
Physical exercises will include improv exercises, prop integration, labs with musicians, technique and tips on professionalism. 
The workshop culminates in a show to a live Arabic band and audience. 

Recommended for dancers at an intermediate to advanced level.  There are only 10 spots, so sign up quickly.

27th October- 6pm-9pm
28th October- 11am-6pm (1 hr lunch) 
29th October- 12pm until late, show will start at 7pm
